California Humanties Grant In!

For the last month, I've been writing this huge grant feverishly, and finally got it in! Any prayer is most welcome...

I've also been speaking to a national environmental group that is interested in using the film in an outreach program for the 2012 anniversary of the Endangered Species Act Amendment that allows landowners to kill endangered species if they fund a mitigation plan, the subject of the film. If they and other groups join on and endorse the film I'll be on my way to fundraising in the environmental community. I definitely need to raise money to get the film done in time, so this will be really helpful! Also, it would be great for the film to be used in a larger effort to education the public about this policy and its effects on our wilderness.

I'm also starting a Kickstarter campaign this week, I'll post the link when it's ready.
